Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were spacious enough to comfortably sleep four people, impeccably clean, and offered a nice variety and quality of meals for breakfast. The staff, especially at the reception, were incredibly nice and welcoming. However, there seemed to be a strict curfew for breakfast, which could be a bit inconvenient. The location, while a bit far, was convenient enough to reach Hamburg's Central Station by train. The dining experience was exceptional, with a generous feast including fresh Brötchen, hearty breads, local jams, and even Champagne. Overall, a great value for the money spent.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had various bed options for all four of us but were a bit outdated and coordinating with cleaning staff was a hassle without using the 'do not disturb' sign. The service was decent but lacked a personal touch, making it feel like a big hotel where guests are just numbers. The location was convenient on the River Bille and perfect for those visiting the Bergedorf district or needing easy access to Hamburg and tourist sites. The dining experience was a generous feast with a good variety of foods, though the selection could have been wider. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay but had its drawbacks.
The hotel had double, single, and 'double' sofa bed accommodations which were large and safe, a significant advantage, especially for a female colleague traveling alone. The rooms were spacious with a nice, clean bathroom, albeit extremely outdated.
The hotel offers clean rooms with slightly outdated interior but in decent condition. The staff could work on better room entry etiquette, even though they were helpful. The location is convenient with good train connections and free available parking. The dining experience is decent, with a variety of choices but lacks some excitement. Overall, it's a decent option for a stay in Bergedorf.
The hotel had some positives like being very cold and good overall. However, the rooms were actually very small, coordinating with cleaning and getting clean bath towels was a challenge, and they didn't match the photos seen online. The service was friendly and efficient, but I encountered difficulties explaining my needs in the room. The location was convenient for a business trip but slightly far from the city center. The dining experience offered a wide variety of choices and was impressive for this class of hotel.
